Living Room
We designed the room where each resident can have their own chair, including a lift chair for those who may need extra assistance with sitting and getting up.
Window Views
The house is surrounded by nice views of woods, nature, and lots of different wildlife. We love how much light is produced in the home because of the many windows.
Apple Trees
Apple trees surround the home and make for some great snacks and pies!

The Power of Music
“To me there are three things everyone should do every day. Number one is laugh. Number two is think -- spend some time time in thought. Number three, you should have your emotions move you to tears. If you laugh, think and cry, that's a heck of a day.” Coach Jim Valvano.
We believe in music therapy whole heartedly. We use music to facilitate moments of joy, emotion (even to tears), reminiscing of forgotten memories, and a wide range of feeling for residents.
Certified Member of MAAP
Owner, Sarah's passion is to bring life enrichment every single day to the residents of New Heights. She strives to create an environment where each and every day is filled with purpose, joy and meaning. She is able to adapt and create activities and programs that fit resident's individual desires and abilities, as well as larger events for everyone to be a part of.
The Power of Nature
We love to go on outings and make the most of our days, especially to be out in nature.
Outings
We love to go out on outings, here featured is the Detroit Institute of Arts, and we make sure to accommodate anyone with restrictions or physical limitations with our outings.

Intergenerational Experiences
Intergenerational experiences are so powerful for both the aged population as well as for children and youth. We have a strong connection with the Auburn Hills Christian School and featured here is the Pre-K class who sang a wonderful concert!

Memory Care
This is an example of one of our memory care activities, "Folding Corner". Most women have been homemakers all their life and household tasks like folding laundry were so much a part of their daily lives. As simple as folding laundry can create remembrance and give a sense of pride and a connection to their inner identity.

Strength Building
We have daily exercise every morning!
